Placeways, LLC is made up of people who are passionate about their tools, their business, and their mission.  The company was created in 2005 by a group of former CommunityViz employees with a deep commitment to both the values embodied in the software and to the fast-growing and exciting community of people who use it.  While the staff of Placeways has expertise and experience in all aspects of the work, we also feel privileged to be able to draw on a strong and deep network of colleagues in the GIS, 3-D, non-profit, academic, and business communities as we expand and grow not just CommunityViz, but the practice of geographic decision-making in general.
